To the wonderful people of Spain:

On behalf of the World Trade Center Survivors' Network, a group formed by those who were in the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001, we express our deepest sympathy and our most heartfelt condolences in the wake of the tragic incidents in Madrid on March 11, 2004.

As survivors of the attacks on the World Trade Center, we feel strong pain and indignation over the recent terrorist action. Our hearts share the deepest pain and sorrow for the family members left behind, as well as for the survivors, as they cope with this terrible tragedy. In the midst of this incident, we pledge our support through our prayers and in any other ways we might be useful. It is at these trying times where we must all stand up amid the chaos and grow stronger than before.

With the pain of our two countries, and the good people of the world, we must stand firm in our promotion of peace and total rejection of terrorism. We will tirelessly toil with the conviction that peace must prevail above hate, violence and retribution.

With our warmest regards and deepest sympathies,

The members of the World Trade Center Survivors' Network
